BEHIND THE LENS

​

Born in 1976 in Lower Saxony, started working in 1998 after graduation from high school in 1997.

I gained experiences as Sound Editor, Clapper loader, Cameraassistant, Electrician and Camera Operator.

 

I was working a lot in Europe and abroad, like United States, Asia and Afrika.

As well I made an apprenticeship in a Camera Rental, worked as Clapper Loader as well as 2nd AD of Joern Heitmann in DoRo Music Video department.

From 2004- 2012 I studied Cinematography at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb- Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie Berlin) and recieved a Diploma in 2012 with the Award winning Cinema Documentary BERG FIDEL.

Alongside my studies I was working as freelance Cinematographer realizing documentaries, social spots, Image movies, music videos, feature film....
